Who We Are

Love Lutheran Church in Algiers is a Christian faith community rooted in God’s love and grace. God’s love and grace renew our lives and give us hope for the future. Renewed, we share God’s love with others. We strive to be relevant in our community following Jesus admonition to “love one another as he has loved us.”

The Reformer Martin Luther has inspired our Christocentric theology. Here are some of Luther’s thoughts:

• “The whole being of any Christian is faith and love.
  Faith brings the person to God, love brings the person to people.”
• “Faith is the yes of the heart.”
• “We are saved by faith alone, but the faith that saves is never alone. If you want to change the world, pick up your pen and write.”
